A haul of military equipment recovered

WANNI/MANNAR/KILINOCHCHI/MULATHIVU: Troops of 56 division, DDG, MMIP, HORIZON and DDG de mining teams were found following military items in the general areas of KOLLARPULIYANKULAM, MARUTHANKULAM and MAHILANKULAM yesterday (16).

The troops of 61 division, MAG, FSD and HORIZON de mining teams were recovered following war materials the general areas of MADU, SINNAPANDIVIRICHCHAN, PERIYATHAMPANEI,MALLAWARAYANKADDAIADAMPAN, IRRANAILLUPAIKULA and PALAMPIDDI yesterday (16).

Meanwhile the troops of 215 Brigade and MAG de mining were found sixteen Anti personnel mines in the general areas of KARUNKANDAL, KOLLANKULAM and NARIKKULAM yesterday (16).

The Army troops and DDG de mining team were recovered twelve anti personnel mines in the general area of PARASANKULAM yesterday (16).

The troops of 57 Division, Troops of task force 3, HALO TRUST and SARVATRA de mining teams were found following unserviceable war materials in the general areas of IRANAMADU, KILINOCHCHI, VISHVAMADUKULAM, RAMANATURURAN, VISHVAMADU and OLUMADU yesterday (16).
