A haul of Arms & Military equipment were recovered by troops of in Wanni Yesterday 17.

56 Division security forcers Headquarters Wanni DDG Organization recovered

 7.62 x 39 Ammunition  100
 Anti Personal Mines   02

at KOLLARPULIYANKULAM & Horizon organization unearthed 34 anti personal mines and 201 by DDG organization and also 11 mines at MAHILANKULAM.

In 61 Division FSD organization unearthed 103 x anti personal mines and two  60 mm Improvised Explosive Devices and one  81 mm Improvised explosive Device. At PERIYATHAMPANEI MAG Organization unearthed 52 x anti personal mines and 02 x RPG improvised Explosive Devices at SINNAPANDIVIRICHCHAN. At MALWARAYANKADDAIAMPAN Horizon Organization unearthed 11 anti personal mines.

Meanwhile troops also unearthed 35 anti personal mines at MADHU, FSD organization unearthed 44 anti personal mines at IRANAILLUPAIKULAM and Horizon Organization 05 at PALAMPIDI. DDG organization unearthed 07 anti personal mine’s at ILAMARUTHANKULAM and 25 , at PARASAKULAM.

Troops of 21 Division MANNAR unearthed 03 anti personal mines at KARANKANDAL, 12 at KOLLANKULAM 01at NARIKKULAM, by MAG Organization.

Police found 01 hand grenade at SALIYAPURA in ANURADHAPURA

Troops of 57 Division , KILINOCHCHI found 03 hand grenades , 04 x anti personal mines, 02  fuses  and one  40 mm hand bomb . They also unearthed 01 anti personal mine by HALO TRUST Organization.

Police found nine 210 L barrels of kerosene at PUTHUKUDIRIPPU in  MULAITHIVU and one  T 56 weapon and two hand grenades at Veragal in East.
