The Ministry of Defence had stated :" A recent recovery made by military intelligence at Visvamadu of some highly classified documents and diary notes of 'Castro:' once head of LTTE 's intelligence wing has provided information on terror outfits . These have not only helped to gain an in depth understanding of the innermost mechanism of the LTTE terror machine but also to identify the individuals involved in the illegal transactions consisting of clandestine arms procurement and smuggling systems , shipping operations , human trafficking , financial fraud , terror outfits etc . The Daily Mirror (24.7.10) stated that according to the Military spokesman : "It's a series of recoveries in Visvamadu with one paving the way for the other" .
