Military equipment recovered in Vanni

VANNI: The troops of 56 & 61 Divisions have recovered following war materials in the general areas of VELLANKULAM, MADU and OMANTAI areas yesterday (26).

Meanwhile, the "HORIZON" and "SARVATHRA" de mining teams have found 48 x AP Mines and 05AP Mine fuses in the PALAMPIDDI and ILUPPAIKULAM areas yesterday (26).

MANNAR: 20 AP mines have been recovered by the SARVATHRA and MAG de mining teams in the KOLLANKULAM and NARIKKULAM areas yesterday (26).

Large haul of war materials found in Mullaittivu

MULLAITTIVU: The troops of 64 Division have found 01 unserviceable Hand grenade in the ODDUSUDAN area yesterday (26).

Following military items have been recovered by a Police team in a search operation conducted in the PUTHUKUDIYIRUPPU West area yesterday (26).
