More explosives devices, Rifles and other items recovered

JAFFNA:  Army Troops conducting clearing operations  in the 51 Division area recovered  01 x 81 mm unserviceable (US) mortar bomb   from POOLASETTI  and another 60mm (US) mortar bomb  from MANTHUVIL yesterday (28) . 

WANNI: The Horizon  De mining Organization  engaged in de-mining operations  yesterday (28) recovered  145 x AP mines (P4 mk 1) from MAHILANKULAM in the 56 Division area while Troops recovered  02 x AP mines (P4 mk 1) and 01 x 81mm mortar (US) bombs from OMANTAI.

Large haul of war materials recovered

VANNI: 141 x Anti personnel mines have been recovered by the "HORIZON" de mining team in the general area of MAHILANKULAM and PALAMPIDDI yesterday (27). 

Following military equipments were recovered by the troops in search operations conducted in the OMANTHAI, SINNAPANDIVIRICHCHAN, MADHU, and KIDAPIDDIKULAM areas yesterday (27).

WANNI :  02 x Rangan 99 AP mines were recovered by Army Troops engaged in clearing operations from NAWATHKULAM in the 56 Division yesterday (24) while the Horizon Organization recovered 151 x P4Mk1 AP mines from MAHILANKULAM .
       Meanwhile ,clearing operations in the 61 division area yesterday (24) by the MAG Organization also recovered 33 x AP mines  from SINNAPANDIVIRICHCHAN and the FSD  Organization..
